Okay, Since Wyatt outted me, I'll say this:
1. That was hilarious!
2. About 2 1/2 years ago my wife and I were invited into a D&D game. My daughter's friend's parents are into it. They play A LOT. They started up a game every other Friday. It was a place to get out that we could bring the kids. i had never played before and my wife had never heard of it before. It's a group of 5/6 people (One being the DM . . .That's Dungeon Master. . or in normal terms. . the guy running the game).
Anyway, despite the occasional person that resembles the above video, it's just a board game.
I will admit it . .. IT'S FUN! It's much more fun than Trivial Pursuit.
I consider myself someone that walks the edge. I enjoy playing the game as long as it's fun. The other people, however, often try to avoid discussing how stupid "Organized Sports" are because they know that I won't be at the game if I have Flyer's Tickets. Meanwhile, I have my hockey friends ridiculing THE GAME.
Personally, I add a new dimension to the game. Whereas, the REAL PLAYAHs read up and know all the jargon. I'm just there to have a good time and a place to drink. You have to see their faces when I just guess at what something is supposed to do. PRICELESS!

I think maybe if it takes many paragraphs to defend "just a game" you've already let it go to your head. I mean...I like Monopoly a whole lot and if there were a bunch of freaks running around with play money trying to claim other people's houses because they "landed on it" and had 200 fake dollars to give to someone else I think I could just sum it up in one sentence.
"Dude, those peeps are nuts, it's just a game" and leave it at that.
Anything more than that skates precariously close to freakydom.
